PROPERTIES OF RHASSOUL

The excellent virtues of rhassoul for the skin have been recognized since ancient times. This particular 100% natural clay cleans the epidermis thoroughly and effectively rids it of its impurities. Rich in minerals such as magnesium, silica, potassium and calcium, its absorbent properties are more powerful than most other types of clays. The rhassoul thus makes it possible to regulate the excess of sebum, favors the regeneration of the skin, and restores it of the elasticity. The rhassoul care is perfect to restore tone to a skin in loss of vitality. Rhassoul is also a very good exfoliant. It eliminates dead cells gently without attacking the epidermis. This gentle treatment is therefore particularly suitable for oily or acne-prone skin. It is also recommended for dry and delicate skin.

BODY SCRATCH IN RHASSOUL
The rhassoul can be used as a complete body scrub once a week, or once a month for normal skin. The preparation of rhassoul is quite fast. Simply dilute the clay powder in a bowl with a little warm water until you obtain a creamy paste. You can replace the mineral water with rose water. By adding a few drops of essential oil to your preparation, you will increase the effects (lavender for damaged skin, grapefruit for blood circulation). Apply the rhassoul all over the body, then massage gently with small circular motions. Insist on the callous parts of the body (elbows, knees …). Leave on for about fifteen minutes before rinsing thoroughly. You can finish your treatment by applying a body oil like argan oil.

MASKS IN RHASSOUL
Rhassoul masks are ideal for oily skin and prone to blackheads. After preparing the rhassoul, leave your mask on the face for fifteen minutes. Rinse gently, taking care to remove any clay residue. Dry with a hot towel. To complete this treatment for oily skin, then apply on the face a vegetable oil with a few drops of tea tree essential oil. Rhassoul masks also have anti-aging properties. To find a firm skin and full of energy, mix with your basic preparation one to two drops of essential oil of rosewood, or better, damask rose. Apply this mask about ten minutes before rinsing. Rhassoul masks can be done once a week.
